Rolls-Royce wins Brazilian offshore contract

Rolls-Royce has won a £24m contract to design and equip four platform supply vessels (PSVS) for Brazilian ship owner, Bravante Group. Under the contract, Rolls-Royce will design the UT 775 SE PSVs for transportation of deck cargo, pipes and diesel oil to and from offshore oil and gas platforms in Brazil. The vessels, which will be chartered by Brazilian energy company Petrobras, will be built at Bravante Group’s shipyard in Niteroi, Brazil.
